Enhancing mobility and connectivity within the community is vital to the County’s overall health, economic competitiveness, and quality of life. Younger, highly-skilled, knowledge-based workers (as well as our seniors) increasingly prefer to use other methods of transportation for getting to work or running errands. These include utilizing public transportation, walking, and biking.
Plan
Plan 2035 commits to improving mobility and connectivity by:
- Building on our underutilized transit network
- Coordinating land use and growth management with transportation improvements
- Investing in our transportation infrastructure (including sidewalks and trails)
